On 12 May 2012, the seminar on “Chinese Enterprises Go Abroad– Go for Southeast Asia”, jointly sponsored by MinterPKU and“White & Magic Law School”, was successfully held in Beijing. The participants mainly included the senior officers with rich outbound investment experiences from ChinaCamc Engineering Co., Ltd, Xinjiang Guanghui Petroleum Co., Ltedetc, and the experts from Clifford Chance LLP and Grandall law firm etc. The attendee shared with each other on the potential risksin the course of outbound investment in the Southeast Asia countries in terms of politics, economy, laws system and taxes. Mr. Wu Libin, the founding partner of MinterPKU, attended the Seminar and made a presentation on the” Key Tax Considerations and Tax Planning for Chinese enterprises’ outbound investment in Southeast Asia countries”.
